Review on 🔆 INSTEON Keypad Dimmer Switch: Dual-Band, 6-Button, Light Almond - Innovative Lighting Control Solution by Tim Hollins

I've had two of them fail and they were about two years old. The first bug was pretty scary because the track light it was controlling started flickering continuously and the switch had no control over it. When I removed the switch from the wall, I saw that while it flickered, something in the keyboard sparked. It could be a relay, but it had way more sparks than I've seen with other relays. I was very concerned that this might start a fire. I had to unplug the circuit breaker to keep it from flickering, arcing and sparking. I immediately removed it from the wall. Another keyboard just died completely. And to be honest if it fails I'd rather it be that kind of failure than spark and spark like the other fail mentioned. Having invested in other Insteon devices, giving them up for another home automation product wasn't a good option. So I replaced the switches with the new Insteon switches and hope they improve the design and reliability. http://youtu.be/OBRrXibWWGg
