I bought these scrubbers on April 4th, 2019 at a bargain price ($11.49) and will never go back. I've always used Scotch Brite Doobie pads as I can't stand standard dishwashing sponges, but the nylon webbing breaks very easily. They looked roughly the same product so I decided to try them. There is a difference in the "texture" of the sponge within the mesh, and the meshes themselves differ from each other, but these differences aren't too much of a problem for me. These scrubbers are much stronger and last much longer. You do the work. The price difference isn't too big (even with the lightening up) but based on the durability and longevity I can't complain and won't go back to the SB.
