Great alternative to American Crew Fiber

I've been using American Crew Fiber for years. It was expensive. I thought it was not a complex product. There should be a generic version that is about as good. So I tried the cheap options at Target. Old Spice Putty/Forge was just what I needed. Old Spice is a little lighter (more air in it) than American Crew Fibre, so you need a little more Old Spice on your hair than American Crew Fibre. But the price is great and the result is great.
