This item was just what I needed for my trip to Europe with my kids. I used it along with a 4 port USB charger which I plugged into one of the outlets. With 2 USB ports on the PowerCube and 4 on the external charger, we were able to charge all of our phones and tablets while using the other ports to charge the camera batteries. The cube form factor makes all outlets accessible, unlike many in-line chargers where a charger plugged into one outlet can move closer to an adjacent outlet.
