I bought a pair of these batteries for my BF-F8HP. When they arrived, I noted that they slow-charged in just an hour each but didn't think too much about it. I used a fully-charged battery for a repeater net session recently and discovered that after just 35 minutes of receive, the battery drained just 10 seconds into a transmit. That was.embarrassing.My HT uses 0.38A to receive and about 1.40A to transmit at 7.4V/5W so at a purported 3.8Ah capacity, the battery should have lasted far longer. That means the batteries are either defective or under-capacity knockoffs. I suspect the latter. I'll keep them since they are good enough for scanning purposes. I'll just chalk it up to experience.Update December, 2021:Over the past month, I have received dozens, I repeat dozens, of emails from the manufacturer asking me to take down this review. In return, they initially offered me a $10 ebay gift card. Since then, the offer has grown to $50! Read into this what you will. All I can say to you the potential customer is, caveat emptor.
