Update No blank ink is printed after printing multiple pages. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Ink. I have cleaned the print head several times but the problem persists. I was about to give up and go to the office store to get a genuine Brother ink cartridge. I took a flashlight and examined the cartridge port on the printer. I learned that a printer's ink nozzle is a man piercing the membrane of an ink cartridge. It turns out that there are two membranes on the cartridge. The appearance is clearly visible. The inner membrane lies behind the outer membrane. I suspected that the inner membrane had not been punctured. As a last attempt, I opened a black ink cartridge from the EZ-Ink set and quickly inserted it with a lot of pressure. There was a feeling that the membrane of the ink cartridge was broken. The first test print had no black at all. I started cleaning the printhead and a test print showed black ink. I had to clean about 7 black printheads before the test print showed all black dotted test lines. Some reviewers claimed that the ink was clogging their printhead. I suspect the problem is not a clogged print head. Instead, the problem is that the inner membrane is not properly punctured during insertion. Try a different cartridge and insert it into the printer port quickly and securely. The Original Review This review is about EZ ink cartridges to replace Brother LC103 cartridges. I paid $15 for a set of 10 cartridges. The same number of cartridges from Brother would have cost me $140. I have been buying Sophia Global brand cartridges for a long time; However, Revain cartridges are no longer available. I had an old replacement black cartridge from Sophia Global, but for some reason the printer didn't recognize it. I thought maybe the printer's firmware had been updated a little, although I tried not to accidentally update it. My guess is that the newer Brother firmware doesn't allow the use of 3rd party cartridges. My printer is a Brother model MFC-J6720DW and its current revision PI firmware ordered EZ ink cartridges just for testing. To my surprise, the cartridges are recognized by my printer and the print quality is much better than what came with my old cartridges.
