I blow all leaves into a large pile, and inevitably small twigs are rounded up also. When using the mulching feature the small twigs will plug it up and you have to push the blockage in or turn off the machine to unblock. I'm not talking large twigs either, just small twigs that you would normally experience when cleaning up your yard in the fall.It does mulch nicely, though it seems to be as time-consuming as regular raking and bagging. Others have mentioned that it is loud, but it seems about average to me, nevertheless,I will probably be returning the unit.
