I love Merrell shoes and their women's Moab 2 GTX hiking shoes were perfect from the start, offering quality in every way: comfort, fit, style and the hike itself! While walking, I stepped into a huge puddle and submerged my foot almost completely, though not completely. My husband warned me because I didn't feel anything. Coming out of the puddle my foot stayed dry thanks to Gortex, GTX in the shoe. They may be more expensive but they fit me perfectly - I tried many sneakers before I found them and they are worth it.
