I have tried so many types of toothbrushes in the 10+ years that I have had a dog and these are the best. They are flexible so they can get into the mouth and soft so they don't damage gums. The size is ideal for cleaning gums and teeth at the same time. (I don't have much time for this as the dog gets impatient very quickly!). I use the same one a few times but when the bristles soften I throw it away and use something else. But they can last a long time. Dog bird flavored toothpaste leaves some residue that my dog licks off the brush. Most remaining toothpaste residue can be almost completely washed off with hot water. Highly recommended.
