Quality Large ball head, fine control, very stiff, difficult to use with gloves

Very high quality ball head, smooth but not as smooth as my Acratech head. Everything is almost as smooth with a camera and a telephoto lens. I don't think fine tuning the tension does much, it's hard to adjust, especially with gloves on when it's sunk into the main setting. Great ball head for the price. You pay three times more with a famous brand, maybe 5% smoother. You won't find a better deal for this price. The bottom is about 2 7.8 inches and 3 3/4 inches high. Maybe it's too big for my 2 1/2" tripod. It takes a little more turns to tighten compared to my Acratech. Definitely recommend for the price.
