Smells horrible nothing like honey. Smells like medicine with a strong kick. near fumes from nail polish scented with cherry medicine. I gave it to my family to see if they could guess the smell. Everyone said the same thing, smells like flu medicine. When I told them it was honey, they couldn't believe it. I usually buy from P&J but decided to give it a try. I go back to P and J, they are the best in my opinion. The packaging was good and strong, I will give them these and the strong smell burned my nostrils, it definitely stayed in my nostrils, so I guess durability isn't an issue. Haha! But none of this matters if the smell isn't the same.
