Killer product! After watching several videos of these products and having several phone holders with cup holders, air vents, and CD holders, I settled on this dashboard mount. Installation was easy: remove cover from bottom adhesive pad, place on dash, push in and turn on rear vacuum switch. (There is another pad in the pack if you have an unusually shaped surface.) After the first day decided to rearrange. With a little wiggling, the entire unit came off leaving a clean dash and same sticky surface, ready to move. Wonderful?! When seated on the dashboard, an easy-to-rotate head allows you to view in both portrait and landscape modes. The head moves in all directions (limited only by the dashboard and the base itself). The head movement is firm enough to hold position during riding and normal use, but not so firm that it's difficult to move when needed. Surprisingly, the iPhone 6 allows me to position the bottom side edges of the phone to actually use the phone as a camera or record video while driving - it doesn't have a "Go-Pro" installed, but it works for me. Several reviewers (ZacK Hill in particular with a video) gave me all the information I needed to make the right purchase, specifically showing the actual setup and then showing how stable a given setup could be.
