Not my best purchase, could have found something else.
I saw a colleague, like I pressed the buttons, I just wanted to (keyboard). Went and bought. But, as they say, do not confuse immigration and tourism. I myself am trying to replace the MacPro 13” with something more compact for small trips, but for me the keyboard as a way to enter information “blindly” turned out to be inconvenient. If someone is typing and looking at the keyboard through the word, he may not notice this oversight.
Pros
- Soft key travel, excellent "click" - a real keyboard! Design - Apple in everything. BUT, as they say, this is where the advantages of this particular form factor (11 inches) end.
Cons
- Touch typing is a PAIN. It's terribly inconvenient. It can be seen that they tried to “stretch” the older 12” model under the 11” format. The location of the side letter keys is not palpable, so more and more often you will get into "C" instead of "Y", in "S" instead of "F" and so on. And it is simply not possible to feel the semi-keys with your fingers (this is the real size) “X” “Ъ” “E” “Yo”. In the English layout, of course, the letter keys are the same (less letters :), typing there is a little more familiar. Most likely, the 12” model will be more comfortable to use. Yes, the “athlete” iPad Pro 11 ”with such a case becomes 2 times heavier, and 2 times thicker.
