I have been running for over 20 years, from 5K to marathons. In the past I've found that Adidas suits me better than many other brands out there. I have narrow ankles and a rather thin instep, but the forefoot is of normal width. I've worn previous Boston versions and they probably fit best overall with this version (true to size with medium socks). They remain a great shoe for daily runs up to 12 miles and I would wear them for 10k half marathons (though for longer distances I would opt for shoes with more cushioning in the forefoot). older, I need the extra pillow). Good protection, good transition, flexible enough without unnecessary bulk. Another major advantage that the Boston shoe has over other running shoes is the Continental rubber used on the outsole. This makes these shoes very grippy on soft trails and in wet conditions. They are also very durable - I can usually run 100 miles more in a pair of Adidas Boston shoes than I can in other brands. This model is sold out and hard to find.
