I'm always looking for an extender but I want one with a 10ft cord which is almost impossible to find for heavy use. Well this one meets my needs, its durable 10ft power cord and USB inputs for charging cell phones, tablets or even AA, AAA batteries. When I got it I wasn't impressed that it was really light, I thought about how heavy it could be. Well the first thing I did was plug in my new 1000/1500w ceramic heater, yes I know you shouldn't be using power strips or power strips with it. I wanted to know if the extension cord, extension cord or heating cable gets hot when using this heater. Nothing, they didn't even get warm, I've been using it on the 1000w setting now, a good enough test. Next I have a soldering iron to only be used with 14 gauge power wire. So, I heated it up to 739 degrees on this extension, it worked perfectly again and didn't even get hot, impressive. So damn, I charged my iPad Air 2 with it and everything was fine. Well I found a good power strip/extender that can now be used at home or in the garage. I am very happy with this purchase.
