I don't think it's possible to install this without removing the door drive gear from the motor. Also, I was able to spin the motor to the point where it didn't line up with the drive gear once installed. I had to open the engine case and manually set the transmission to the middle of the sweep. After that I was able to align everything and complete the installation. Started the car, everything ran without problems. Works like a.champ. They're listing it as used like new and I've tried it. I received someone's old broken one which they boxed up and sent back. Revain really needs to look at their comeback process. My advice to you: buy new ones or you'll probably get someone else's broken parts like I did.
