These plastic bolts and nuts hold the toilet seat securely

Even though I rent a house and my landlord is required to fix or replace items that don't work, I do It bothers me mind spending some money on buying items necessary for my comfort. I consider my landlord to be one of the "good guys" in these difficult times. In the 10 years since I have rented this home, my landlord has been more than generous in repairing or replacing any necessary items quickly and efficiently. The longer I've lived in this nearly 70-year-old house, he's replaced the water heater, repaired the leaks on the roof, and also consistently been kicking $25 a month out of my rent after my first year. His Christmas gift to me last year was that I could give him $200 (no typo) of my December rent as a gift. Typically, landlords tend to raise tenants' rents instead of lowering them. And he expects nothing in return for these gifts. He even cuts my garden as part of my lease. When he installed my new water heater, I found out that he was running for mayor of a small town north of where I live. When he finished installing it, I told him I wanted to shake hands with the next mayor. He giggled and told me he would never win the city elections. How wrong was he! Not only did he win the election this year, he seems to have done such a fantastic job that he is now in his second term as mayor. I thank those in power for allowing me to find such a generous and noble lord.
