Had to send back due to sizing issue but in general this is a well-made, very good-looking collar. The D ring and buckle are a nice rich greyish metal and very sturdy. Loved the design with the little loop on one side for hanging license or ID tags. However, the small size was still too big (wide) and too heavy duty for our small dog. The neoprene padding is just on the inside of the collar and the collar material and edging is too stiff for comfort on our tender necked dog. He gets red areas on his skin from heavy collars. It would be excellent on a larger dog. Also, the area of the collar with the sizing holes was way too long for our dog's neck. Might be good purchase for a puppy as there is lots of room for growth. Our dog's neck measures about 12 1/2 inches and we bought the collar that was appropriate for his neck size but there was just too much extra material. All that said, it is a beautifully made collar and would be perfect for a larger dog and I would highly recommend purchasing it. Ours is a 20 lb cockapoo so we had to send it back.
