Inexpensive but difficult

The price is cheap, so it has everything, but it is difficult to use. I wish it didn't have that little pressure release button. Gaskets are difficult to install and tear easily. Even if the gasket isn't ruptured, air will escape from the gasket, causing you to tighten it until the gasket ruptures. I encountered major difficulties, not related to the product itself (but to the process). My CO2 tank doesn't have a siphon so I had to turn it upside down. Not so hot what's up. But to complicate things further, because I have a new soda tank with a pin, I have to constantly fiddle with opening the valve slowly. Every time you fail, you have to release the pressure and try again. I don't know if this is unique to my CO2 tank, but to close it completely you REALLY need to tighten it. Because it's locked so tight, it's really hard to open slowly. This whole process has caused a lot of stress in my life! I ended up buying one of the more expensive adapters with a hose that connects directly from the CO2 tank to the sparkling water jet. I was skeptical at first because I had read reviews claiming there was bad taste. I can't speak for the black tube products, but I bought the one with the metal tube and didn't have a bad aftertaste. I'm so glad I never have to go through this annoying process again. Extra tip: if you manage to get the safety valve closed and working fine, don't use it or mess with it! Simply release the pressure with the wrenches by unscrewing the soda nozzle from the adapter.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.
