A bought Sena Slim speakers because of the inconvenience of the standard Sena 30K speakers. minutes in the helmet. When my Sena Slim Speakers arrived, I measured both speakers. Standard 30K driver Diameter without foam 1.573" Thickness without foam 0.287" With shredded foam Diameter 1.582" Thickness 0.295" 0.294" I found the Slim speakers to be a perfect fit around the ears. They feel a lot better in terms of comfort! They're a bit thicker than the standard Sena 30K speakers. The big difference in comfort is actually the smaller diameter, I ride with foam ear tips to protect my ears from wind noise. As the roar of the wind is loud, I wear earplugs to reduce it. I hear my speakers much better when I wear earplugs. At 110 a.m. I could still hear and understand my navigation. I might buy another pair when they stop making slims.
