These are beautiful earrings and look exactly like the photo. The metal doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the shape of the pin is a little odd, too wide and almost too big to fit my standard sized pierced ears. Instead of a round shank for earrings, they are elongated and make my piercing a little painful after wearing these earrings for a long time (8+ hours). Otherwise, the metal does not look cheap, it is durable and looks very high quality.
