I used to have a regular analog caveman thermometer to check chicken and steak, but this is so much more! I will no longer live like a caveman! This is a premium device. Advantages: 1.) Comes with TWO stainless steel probes. 2.) Probes work at over 500 Fahrenheit which means you can seal them in a pan or oven! Make sure the thermometer is outdoors and in a safe place! 3.) Connects via Bluetooth so you can keep an eye on your steak or chicken from across the house! 4.) The application is easy to use and contains many functions such as an alarm clock. to let you know when your food has reached the desired temperature and set temperatures to let you know how hot your dinner should be! 5.) Comes with a probe holder for inside the grill or oven. for several products at the same time! 7.) If you are preparing a large meal, a total of SIX probes can be used. 8.) You can set a timer in the app to remind you to turn certain foods attached to the dipstick. Cons: 1.) The digital screen scratches and scratches very easily. Be *extremely* careful not to throw it in a trash can or anything. 2.) "AA" batteries required, not included. I didn't know how long I would use it. I no longer live in fear that a dead chicken will kill me with its salmonella. I don't know how I survived without this thermometer for so long, but I refuse to live in a world without it. The stress and worry that every meal can be a killer just waiting to be hit with a half-cooked kernel is gone, I'm finally free of it! It's 12:30, I'm trying to be funny but it just doesn't work.
