Review on πŸ”§ High Precision LaserJamb ProCarpenter PMS25 Standard Measure: Accurate and Efficient Tools for Professional Carpenters by Jason Mitts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Roulette with a bunch of features - just what I needed.

As I'm not a carpenter and occasionally do projects with other people who aren't carpenters either, I love the easy reading of this tape measure! No more guessing or counting lines or telling someone how to read a tape. Just read what's right in front of you. That alone makes this roulette invaluable. The second best thing about this volume is the writing surface. I use it every time I take a new measurement and it's AMAZING and handy when you go to cut. When you're done, just wet your finger and dry it. A regular sized pencil sharpener will also work. I lost so many pins that I finally gave up buying square pins. Instead, I just buy a box of regular pencils and this little tie keeps them sharp. I can lose them as many times as I want, just sharpen another one and go. My only complaint is with the overall build quality. It seems a bit cheap but not as bad as some Chinese products. The tape caught on something and a tiny tear formed on one side. This tear eventually resulted in the entire band snapping and sending it back into the case, rendering it unusable. I opened it and found a generally cheap construction inside. I contacted the company and they were very responsive and offered to send me another one for free. It's been about 2 weeks and I still haven't received it and don't know if I will ever get it, but the company behind this tape measure sounds like they care about their products and their customers. Overall I give her 4 stars. . I don't want to go back to a regular cassette, but I don't want to buy a new one every few weeks either. We'll see how it goes.
