Review on Garmin 010 12530 03 Parking Cable Black by Ronald Cambridge

Rated 3 stars for installation as moderate skill required for smooth (clean) installation. I'll give 5 if you don't care about open wiring. The instructions are great with a simple diagram that anyone can understand. But hiding the wiring through the headliner is nice, and it might not be something everyone can easily do. After installation it works great. Activation is impressive, especially at night. I'm watching a parked video and the camera starts filming when the traffic is 180 feet. I have noticed that in very cold weather 0-20f it has some hiccups. It will pick up well when parked, but when I start my truck it sometimes shuts down and restarts a few times and then works fine. This may be an issue unique to me. Who knows. But once the camera (Garmin 45) has warmed up, it works fine at startup. I think the electronics are affected by the cold. Costs money. And worth the time for a neat and clean install.
