When used correctly these really are great nonstick pans. They only last about a year before needing complete replacement, but considering we use them every day I'm okay with that. They REALLY need protection or they won't hold at all: medium-low heat only, wooden or silicone spoon, hand wash with a non-abrasive sponge. My only complaint is that the floors get ugly and scratch almost immediately. TO UPDATE! This time they put me out of action for four months. Wow. Almost overnight they lost their non-stick properties - everything started to stick and the bottom was covered with burn marks. We have cared for them even more carefully than the first set. Not cool!
