Short shorts, runs small.
The photo shows that the inseam length from the crotch to the waist is almost the same. The reality is that the inseam is very short, like girls running shorts, short. Luckily my son doesn't mind and wears them anyway. They also run small, at least one size larger. Overall they feel very soft and comfortable and I got two pairs for under $6 so that was a bonus.
