High quality board no doubt. No frills board b550m. 12V RGB is in an odd place, but it's a legacy platform anyway. That's the problem, this board comes with a Realtek 2.5GB LAN chip. It never works with Ryzen 5000 CPU. There are threads and threads about this problem with Realtek Lan chip for B550 and X570 boards. Yes, the bios has been updated. Yes, all drivers worked and were updated. Basically, you should hope and pray that you hit the right setting that caused the "bug". I tried 3 b550 motherboards and none of the LAN connections worked. My first purchase of this board, everything suddenly worked but suddenly died and hasn't been released anymore. Now I'm in the process of swapping out this board, which is fine, but now I'm back in the LAN battle. I had to order $50 WiFi just to get internet access. *sigh* Finally, BOYCOTT ALL MOBOS WITH REALTEK 2.5 NETWORK CHIPS. AVOID IF YOU HAVE A RYZEN 5000 CPU.
