Better than expected.

When I first started looking for a new camcorder, I tried my best to stay away from Sony. It's not my favorite company, but my goodness, they make good products. When I received my Sony Webbie I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this little camera is in my hand. Aside from the lack of a wrist strap (which has been replaced with a wrist strap), the Webbie was very comfortable. Ease of use is a big hurdle for me, if it's hard to use I don't like it and won't use it, but that's not the case with Webbie. All you have to do is open it and it turns on immediately. No cumbersome toggling between settings and whatnot and whatnot. It might not be for filming or anything crazy, but for home video, this camera is more than what I need and I'm happy with it. I read many reviews of this camera before purchasing it and I had many complaints about the image quality. I would say I disagree. This camcorder records in full 1080 resolution and looks amazing. Personally, I don't need to shoot anything at full 1080, so I'll stick with the 720 setting, but it's good to have that option. I've also read about the sound quality, but I haven't had any issues with it either. All in all, this is a great camcorder for personal use. You will not be disappointed.
