Review on Pound O Dice by Chessex: Your Ultimate Solution for Ample Dice Supply by Brandon Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All dice arrived in great condition with a decent mix of types and colors

I ordered this set to use primarily as math dice. My just 7 year old son loved sorting and labeling the cubes and choosing his favourite. The bag (with a few extra snack-size zippers) weighed 17.0 ounces, so I'd expect the bones themselves to weigh a little over a pound. As you can see from the photos, the combination of the dice was decent, with a number of duplicates being one-sided or near-identical models. For some, this might be an advantage, but for those looking for a truly random and varied combination, it might not be desirable. with less solid color or swirls. There are few translucent and golden pistils. Some of them have a combination of color inks that are difficult to see in the light I used them in (a mix of daylight and bright white LED) but are more legible in other conditions. I've noticed that the range is very different from what others have posted, so I've included photos to give you a better idea of what you can get. Overall I would say it was a good buy and as I intend to use them mostly for math games and practice in my classes I was pleasantly surprised to get some D10, D12 and D20 dice.
