They deserve better. Even if you don't believe it, think about the feelings of your sad, powerless computer!

If you remember the Ricky Gervais movie The Invention of Lies, it's the same thing, only it's an invention of bad ideas. This device was designed in such a way that I can only assume that it would inevitably fail. The construction of the case works *not* as advertised. The screws don't snap as there is nothing in the case to snap in and one of the screw holes goes straight into the circuit board of the drive itself. So the buyer is left with this flimsy powered device that could fall out at any moment. It's like reliving the high school assignment of keeping the baby egg alive, except it has real consequences. Also, DO NOT leave this plugged into the computer when turning the computer on or off - the "connected mode" causes several BSOD errors on my desktop. Why the designers went to great lengths to include this feature is beyond me. switch on again without buying this device. Freedom and complacency are a collection of habits developed in a thousand tiny steps like this one.
