I purchased these drill bits to help install drawer slides on a base cabinet project I was working on. It was very intuitive to set up and use and I had no problem getting started on my project straight from the package. The best thing about these bits is that I was able to clamp the slide with a spring clamp and I didn't have to mark my holes before drilling. I could just put the drill in the slot and know the hole would be centered. This was particularly useful for narrower cabinets where there wasn't much work space. I removed the star because I couldn't find a good way to mark the depth of the hole I was drilling. In my case I drilled 3/4" plywood so I never drilled through the wall unit but with thinner material I could imagine that could happen. I love Beats and will continue to use them. I see many opportunities where they are very useful.
