My favorite reusable pads

When I discovered that cotton pads for daily personal care are made by the world's most polluting agricultural industry, I decided to stop using them. Most reusable pads are too big for use and will end up staining. Finally. I found something similar in size and texture to cotton pads! And on top of that, color is a key advantage for reusable pads. Size: Most reusable pads are too big for removing makeup or just adding toning lotion to my beauty routine. Texture: Bamboo texture is very soft, pads absorb moisture well and are actually much softer than cotton! Color without chemicals: pastel colors are very beautiful. Many reusable pads are white or beige (dying fabric is neither eco-friendly nor good for the skin) and the chemical-free claim is important to me. I've never had a sensitive reaction to the pads and they don't have much smell so I assume that statement is true. - Aesthetic point of view: most of my beige reusable pads were slightly stained after using them on mascara or foundation, even after cleaning several times. Stains aren't very attractive when you start your beauty routine in the morning, even if you know the pads are clean. These pads come in 3 colors (white, pink and blue) and I use the colored ones for mascara or foundation and the white ones for applying toner to a clean face. I don't have to hide my dirty pads anymore :) I put these reusable pads in a glass jar I have on my bathroom vanity that I used for cotton pads and ended up filling it with Epsom salts because the colored pads were a little unsightly. Now the fresh "clean" look that cotton used for the bathroom is back and I love it!

  • Cotton pads and round pads
Cons
