Review on Flexfit Delta Performance Carbon Cap by Robert Wood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not what I expected but I really like it!

When I received this cap in the mail I thought "Oh, that's not what I had in mind." But as soon as I tried it on I was sold! This is the fourth Flexfit cap I've bought but it's the first in the Delta range and the best fit yet. Other reviewers have said that Delta caps run small, but I can't help but agree. I generally feel that Flextfit caps take some time to settle in and relax. In fact, they usually give me a headache the first few times I wear them, but not the Delta. It's tight, but not too tight. I wore it straight out of the box for hours and never had a headache. Feels like a fitted hat. The reason I didn't like it at first is because of the material. It's very thin and feels almost like the moisture-wicking material used in athletic apparel. It's thin but definitely strong and looks like a regular beanie when worn - I was afraid it might look too casual. (It's weird thinking about a baseball cap, I know, but sometimes I like to spice it up a bit.) Again, not what I was expecting, but I really like this cap. Actually, I think I'll get another one in a different color. Last but not least, the hat is SUPER BREATHABLE. While not visible, holding it up to the light reveals the micro-perforations in the material that allow airflow. Although I haven't worn it in the heat yet I think this hat will be fantastic in the summer.

Pros
  • No closure
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
