Review on πŸͺ’ BIC Flex 3 Hybrid Men's Razor - 1 Handle with 5 Cartridges by Jason Selby

Revainrating 3 out of 5

After trying different razors to find "The One ". It's not

This is a handle with a blade cartridge. I've used something similar before. Recent changes in the razor industry appear to be leading to thicker handles. I used Schick razors but got to the point where I couldn't stand the short triangular section of their razors anymore (threw them away). And I don't use Gillette because they decided to shift their business model towards self-aggrandizement. (I searched for "the best a man can get" and instead received the message that in Gillette's eyes I am a toxic, subhuman brute with no possibility of redemption. Boy, thanks, Gillette.) I've tried them, but they are better than Schicks, but still have their own characteristics. The handle is still a little thick (I can't fit it in the razor/toothbrush case). And while the grip is a bit textured, it does get slippery when wet. In addition, the cartridges are narrow (I have a rather wide face). As for the shaving itself, there are no problems. I like razors with pivoting heads like this one. And shave close. People who mention cutting themselves with it should probably look up a course at their local college on the male art of shaving properly. (Tip: There are a thousand different ways to do this, you just have to find one that works for you. You don't need shaving cream or soap. I use Aveeno Moisturizer with sunscreen and I can shave three times a day. No problem - and it there .) Conditionally recommendable. YMMV.
