I use this dashboard mount with my iPhone 5S for disc burning. Like a black box video. In case of an accident, I wrote everything down. My problem with window mounts and dash mounts is that there is no space. I drive a Jaguar XK which has a very low drag window. He leans back sharply. This doesn't leave much space to attach things, dashboard and windshield are very close together. I tried installing the windshield mount but it severely obstructs the view. I tried the dash mount but the leather trim won't stick to it. Except for that beast mount! Quality workmanship, thick plastic, strong spring and housing, excellent suction cup. This remains fixed on a rough surface. My Jaguar has stiffer suspension in sport mode and that little low profile bracket is still there. Brilliant. I recommend this product to my family and friends!
