Review on πŸ”Š Neoteck 192kHz DAC Converter: Optimal Audio Adapter for PS3 HD DVD PS4 Sky HD Plasma Blu-ray with Volume Control and Multiple Connection Options by Robert Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great as a silent signal source with wireless headphones.

Nice little machine that wanted to work straight away (a rare thing). Usage: I use this Neotic DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) to receive a digital (optical) audio source (via the TV's optical cable output) and an analog signal (via the RCA jacks) to a pair of SONY wireless headphones send. Why? Because headphones offer both personal listening and ambient noise cancellation (passive) in public areas. The included optical cable was a bit short in my opinion, but it did the job. The metal body gives it a solid feel and just enough weight that it doesn't "belong" to the wires and cables attached to it. Had to buy this because my mum's TV external audio out was dead. I risked that the digital (optical) audio output would still work. It worked Use the RCA male outputs to connect a set of Sony wireless headphones: Sony MDRRF985RK Wireless RF (Radio Frequency) Headphones with Transmitter Base Station + Stereo Connection Cable + Power Adapter + HeroFiber ultra-soft cleaning cloth Didn't use the volume button on DAC still (instruction says it works with a 3.5mm audio jack) but might be nice to have on hand someday. I repurposed one of my old cell phone power supplies to power the DAC with 5V.
