In the past I had a terrible experience testing and reviewing the curler. It was a look similar to the viral trend but made out of styrofoam and wire. It was incredibly stiff and uncomfortable and even started falling apart when I tried to use it! I could not make curls in foam at night. As a result, I sewed a silk set. But I was so interested in it anyway as it claims to be way better than styrofoam. Luckily it is! The design is much nicer. I only have a few minor criticisms. First, there is a slight gap in both of the no-seam elastics. I made hair ties and I believe this is where the elastic was inserted and sewn. It can be hand stitched if that's a problem, but it's hard to find and quite small. Another thing is that I feel like it's too crowded. For me, as a side sleeper, it's uncomfortable and I have a hard time sleeping in it. I would have preferred to pack it less tightly. Hopefully this shouldn't be a problem for back sleepers. Or maybe even if you sleep on your side, the stiffness won't bother you as much. It also helps to know what to expect from curls. This gives nice curls in the front, but since the hair is forward at the back, the upper back is a bit flat and the curls are down (if your hair is long enough to curl). Choose from all the trending headbands but I definitely think this is one of the prettiest.
