Review on πŸͺ‘ Set of 2 Biony Blue Fabric Dining Chairs with Nailhead Trim from Roundhill Furniture by Josh Endricko

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Stinks when diving. Then break! (Looks nice though.)

I bought a set of 2 of these chairs (received March 25th) (1) The box When they walked in, the chemical smell was so intense it filled the room for days before I even opened it. Should have taken that as a warning! (See below.) (2) Assembly went well; I don't remember it being too difficult. I had to re-tighten a few days later, which is what I expected. (3) They looked very beautiful! (4) They were overly round/puffy and hard when first sat on - like sitting on a ball - but that didn't bother me. I knew they would soften/fall off eventually, so that's not a problem. BUT! After assembly, the "chemical" smell was so strong that I had to put them on the porch. A few days later I put one to use. The smell was less but still present and to make matters worse simply sitting on it caused the pad to ooze out this smell as it eventually turned into a lumpy/uneven mass over the next few days. So I put one in another room and brought another with me. Same problems but I kept using it for the next few weeks. Then finally broke the leg! Well I thought I would contact the company for a new leg but in the meantime I've put the first chair to use. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he had regained his former form. But as I sat on it, it gradually sank into the same weird lumpiness and, most importantly to me, still gives off that awful smell! sitting on the pillow) for who knows how long, hoping that maybe that smell will eventually dissipate, why order a new leg at all? And if one of them broke after a month, I suspect the other one also broke. A NOTICE. A quick search of the reviews turned up no mention of a bad smell, so it's possible these 2 were just from a bad batch.
