Based on feedback I will be modifying the stock by welding a support rod to the bottom of the stock to prevent it from breaking when moderate upward pressure is applied. It doesn't look like bad steel when you look at it, but they put a square shank in a round hole, leaving a good 1/4 empty space, and nothing but epoxy to hold it in place and place holds...he must interrupt. . I understand that not everyone has the welding machine to change this. So if a manufacturer looks at feedback I would suggest changing this simple design and the nature of the feedback will change dramatically. All the bad reviews say the shaft breaks off at the base.
