I love these shoes! They fit my known shoe size, they are soft and don't dig into my ankles like the casual shoes that motivated me to buy them. They are very attractive and stylish with red on black lacing (there are a pair of bright green laces in the box if you like them better). The only caveat I have is that they can be slippery. I was driving my Mustang with the stock transmission, I pushed the clutch and it immediately slipped. It was right after I got gas so maybe there was oil on the soles but it was scary. Also, I have a bike that I've used them on and they're fine. Ankle protection and comfort. But just in case, I will not forget the possibility of slipping. It only happened once, but it was enough to keep me on guard forever.
