A one-cup measure differs by a whole ounce. I measured a cup in two different measuring cups and poured it into a new one and both times the volume was less than an ounce. It's odd because it differs by exactly one ounce. I bought it because it had pretty good milliliter markings. I sometimes use European recipes and my usual measuring cups have a large milliliter graduation - 50, 100, 150 - where I need a finer graduation - 60, 70. This measuring cup seemed perfect to me. Unfortunately, I don't have an accurate milliliter measure to test the new measuring cup, so I don't know if the problem is just that the markings on the cup are too high, or the ounce/milliliter markings themselves are inaccurate. spaced.
