I use this for my five year old 6" x 8.25" magazine. I took the advice of one of the other reviews that said it dangles from their 6 1/4 inch laptop. I'm glad I did. The fit is nice and neat, but it should definitely be in hardcover. The lid bends when you try to use it on something smaller. Seems well done. The leather and elastic are thick and durable so I hope they will last many years of my 5 year journaling. I also love the little touches that came with the item. It had a little card on it saying who made it and it came in a little case with a leather strap. It also comes with a 101-year warranty. I am happy with this purchase.
