Unsuitable for other office equipment

The keystrokes were too strong and impossible for my elderly mother. The roller did not advance the paper. The writing was very bland (as if the ribbon was too old?) Each letter was different in dark writing (I know that manual typewriters are not as smooth as electric ones and that portable typewriters are not as smooth as manually operated desktop typewriters --- I've used both years---but it ranged from almost nonexistent faint to almost black enough---this product was a huge disappointment to my mom who loves to "type" as her handwriting gets strong with age has subsided.

Sent it back. Ot os fragile and hatd yo type with. Letters are not consistent. A toy.
