I've only had this 30" hood for a few weeks but so far I'm happy with it. It fits my 20 liter aqueon (yes I know that's the bare minimum we should expect) and seals well and doesn't stick or sink. As others have pointed out, it feels a bit cheap, but cheap aquarium hoods tend to be that way. It is easy to assemble and works well. Minor criticisms: (1) It's quite difficult to cut the pre-cut sections for the pump, but it's fairly typical for tank caps. (2) The light has room for more bulbs, but only one each for white and moonlight (or whatever they call it) - sort of cheapening the product, but enough light, and they lower the price that way. So remember that it is "updatable". . (3) The switch is a bit clunky with two 'on' settings opposite each other and 'off'. in the middle. I would have preferred off-low-high, but of course that doesn't matter. It's a real physical switch, not a touch switch, so you can set it on a timer and know it'll be set to the setting you want. For what it costs it's great.
