Review on Mitutoyo 505 738 TXWW Caliper Carbide: Precision Measuring Tool for Accurate Measurements by Ron Houston

I used the same caliper for 20 years as a professional special effects model maker in Hollywood. This was my choice because I could draw lines with sharp carbide jaws and it didn't affect the accuracy of the tool. Fantastic caliper, in every way. (See what I did there? Never mind.) Now I'm mentoring a young master/artist and I wanted to set him up for success. A good tool inspires good work. I bought this for him and put it in the pocket of a Kevlar apron which I had also given him (along with an old Rabone and Chesterman machinist's angle!) and he was amazed.
