The difference in price is SHOCKED! I was expecting issues with cartridges and low refills, but I'm happy to report that I was wrong. I had trouble unwrapping the cartridge and removing all the caps and pulleys. but I was in a hurry and didn't read the instructions so I got lost as it was the same as the HP cartridges. I stopped by to read the instructions which are extremely helpful for those of us who have never deviated from HP. I got a warning message on the printer saying it wasn't HP, but it went away quickly and warning indicators could appear, so I was prepared. The instructions cover a few things you may come across, so read them. Luckily you're still printing with the first cartridge. 4 reams of paper and still dark crisp print. Good printer, good price.
