I got them for my 5 year old daughter. Teal is gender neutral in my opinion. My daughter definitely loves bright colors. These sandals fit well. I would say the size is pretty accurate. I ordered a size 10 (toddler) for my daughter and that is her typical size. They fit her like a size 10 booties/trainers. We both loved the design. They are comfortable and don't seem to rub anywhere. The material is easy to apply and dries quickly. The underside is non-slip and prevents slipping. My daughter can easily put them on and take them off. There is a small velcro strap on the outside of the ankle.
