I had no problems with this cable initially as it served its purpose and looked very stylish on my desk. However, I ended up returning it as it was making annoying noises in my use case. My powered speakers (Edifier R980t) are connected to a Fulla 3 DAC/amplifier, allowing me to use the Fulla 3 as both a preamp and an amplifier. headphone amplifier. The cable works well when nothing is plugged into the Fulla's headphone jack, but when I plug my headphones into the speakers there is an audible buzz. I can actually hear it through my headphones even when using them, and to get it to an acceptable level I had to turn the speakers down than I wanted. I figured it was an issue with the Fulla 3 as it's a fairly cheap DAC. /amp but when I used the original Edifier cables and tried the same use case the noise was completely gone. I realized that the buzzing was actually on that cable and I had to send it back. You'll probably be fine just using this cable to connect your speakers to another device, but I wouldn't risk it and try another option here. If you have a more complex setup where this cable is all one piece, don't even bother.
