For the price these things sound amazing. They don't feel terrible but certainly could have been more comfortable, particularly the ill-fitting loops around the ears and the very cute earcups. Good news: you can swap out the cord and tips. The bad news is that you have to pay to have the cable and lugs replaced, which slightly detracts from the value proposition. You might want to buy a case to put them in if you don't already have one. Overall, I'd still recommend them, but be aware that once you're done making them how they should have been from the start, the price can double. If that's out of your budget, you might want to consider a cheaper model. It would be really nice if KZ sold them completely bare (no lugs, no cable) and/or as a complete kit with better lugs and a better matching cable and housing. Either method saves most customers paying a few bucks for the privilege of sending more trash to the landfill.
