Although Dyson filters can be cleaned, over time the flow will become limited and the vacuum will overheat. I removed my DC65 and bought a newer model. Due to the low price of this kit, I decided to restore an old device for backup service. It worked very well. The filters appeared to be of good quality and fitted well, but the motor filter required extra force to turn it fully into the locked position. I read some other reviews where the wheel pulled the filter - I suspect they didn't fix the filter adequately. I had no gap between the filter and the cover. Now the vacuum cleaner picks up better and does not overheat.
